11 days until Les Miserables: From Stage to Film

Today was the day in which Les Miserables was to be release originally, but it was postponed until Christmas day. The release of Les Miserables today was supposed to be the most amazing birthday present for me. I had already the day plan I was going to have breakfast with a friend and then with her to watch Les Mis and then in the afternoon ice-cream cake and go to the movies with my mom and sister. Now is only breakfast with my friend and diner with my mom and The Hobbit.

Any way to celebrate my birthday I decide to create a list about Broadway play that had become Films.

Muppets’ Musical Moments- A post to cheer me up

Today is a sad day, is the day my country gives a big leap backwards.  That’s the reason I decide to work in a list to cheer me up, well to cheer everybody who is in need to be cheer today.Nothing Cheers me as the Muppets, so my list today is my 10 favorite musical moments of the Muppets.

I really love Christmas, for me this holidays has always been a happy time.  A time where I always has been surrounded for people I love and people who love me.  One of the things always present in our Christmas celebration are movies, we have the habit of watch Christmas movies all day long as we eat left over. So in order to honor this holiday I decide to create a list with  my favorites.

As any person born in the eighties, I grew up with the Muppets. I remeber watching rerun of the muppets show and the muppets babies. But Muppets take Manhattan is one of the most lovely and memorable pieces of my childhood.  The muppetts take Manahattan taught me a valuable lesson about been an struggle fury creature in big city … is hard.

The story is great story of the muppets trying to success in Manhattan mixed with very cute and peppy musical numbers. Any muppet movie is great to cheer up anyone and this is special because for the first time in the muppets are the central characters not the humans.

I grew up watching the Muppets and I love them, my favorite Muppets Gonzo. And this movie is all about him.  This movie is the first Muppets movie after the death of Jim Henson; and as always the movie is full of pop culture references, specially from movies like Independence day, Close encounters and Field of Dreams. The movie is funny and loony as all Muppets.

The movie provide the opportunities for clever cameos here are endless, take, for example, the scene in which we see Katie Holmes and Josh Jackson from Dawson’s Creek. Muppets from Space is really a film for fans of the Muppets and for kids.
